ParkLife Café

Facilities
The ParkLife Café, which opened on Friday 15th July 2011, includes:
- An indoor café with 16 seats;
- An outdoor café terrace with 14 seats;
- A kiosk-style serving hatch for drinks and snacks.
Further outdoor seating might also be made available later in the café plaza, between the café and the Young Play Area.
Free Wi-Fi is now available within the café. Simply allow your device to search for available networks and select "St.James' Park": no password is required. Please note that this is not a secure service: it is not recommended for exchanging sensitive information e.g. on‑line banking services.

We're now in the process of further upgrading our Wi‑Fi system to extend coverage into the Community Room; unfortunately this might mean that the system is unavailable for a short period: please bear with us while we make these improvements. |

The café offers a variety of good quality, freshly prepared food and drinks to suit most tastes and budgets.

Opening Times
The café is open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm, including weekends.
In general, the kiosk‑style serving hatch will operate during summer months, June - September, except during exceptionally busy times.

Other Services
The café has a fully functional catering kitchen. As well as being used to supply freshly cooked food for the café and for users of the ParkLife Community Room, we plan to later use the kitchen to provide:
- Catering experience and training, leading towards National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs);
- Outside catering services.
